Teacher Education Alliance Formed

Drury collaborates with other local colleges and SPS

On March 4, 2010, representatives from Missouri State University (MSU), Drury University (DU), Evangel University, Baptist Bible College (BBC) and the Springfield Public Schools (SPS) met to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The signing of the MOU formed the Teacher Education Alliance (TEA), which is a collaboration between the four institutions that prepare teachers and the SPS to address the needs of 11 high-needs schools in the R-12 district.
