SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 30, 2009 — Drury University and State Fair Community College in Sedalia signed an articulation agreement that will enable students to seamlessly transfer to Drury.

Drury President Todd Parnell traveled to Sedalia to sign the articulation agreement with SFCC President Marsha Drennon. The agreement will allow SFCC students to transfer up to 88 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree at Drury.

“This agreement clarifies and specifies courses that are equivalent at SFCC and Drury and prevents misunderstandings at the time a student is preparing to transfer,” said Dr. Dan Beach, interim Dean of Drury’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

SFCC students will have the ability to smoothly transfer into five bachelor’s degree programs at Drury, including: Organizational Studies, Health Services, Criminal Justice, Business Administration and Elementary Education. All of those degrees, except the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, can be completed entirely online.
