Create a presence on campus and recruit students!

Due to overwhelming requests by employers and students, we are excited to announce the Drury University Career Center will be hosting a first-time event on the Drury University campus - a Career Carnival!

Wednesday, November 4 from 11am to 2pm
Findlay Student Center Ballroom.

This event will be targeted to all Drury students. It will be a combination career exploration/majors fair as well as a career fair. Employers will be encouraged to discuss the types of majors they recruit, things they look for in candidates, do/don'ts in the application process, as well as discuss any job opportunities that might be available. Employers who do not currently have openings available, but would like to create a presence on the Drury campus, are encouraged to attend as well.

This will truly have a carnival-like theme. We will have inflatables, games, sno-cones, popcorn and a lively atmosphere. We strongly encourage employers to think outside of the box and try to have some type of interactive activity that will attract students to their table. Ideas might include a spin-the-wheel game, mini-golf, ring toss, etc.

Space for the event is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Each booth will include an 8' table and two chairs. The fee is $50 which includes two box lunches (additional lunches can be purchased). Wi-Fi capabilities will be available if requested.
