Renew your Student Organization For 2009-2010 Academic Year

Here is what you need to do.

Untitled Document

If you haven't already renewed your group, It's time again to submit your annual Drury Student Organization Renewal Agreement. Existing student organizations are required to renew their organization with the Office of Student Involvement to remain an officially registered group at Drury University.

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO:
Here is the process that you need to complete to renew your group

  • Complete online 2009-2010 Renewal Agreement: http://www.drury.edu/studentlife/greeklife/Stu_Org.cfm (all groups need to do this, only fully complete agreements will be accepted??Only the student leader or campus advisor should complete)
  • Submit Current Information (read step 2 special notes)
  • Attend Student Organization Handbook workshop (read step 3 special notes)

STEP 2 SPECIAL NOTES: 2008-2009 Renewal Confirmation Letters
If your group received a 2008-2009 renewal confirmation letter: your group will only need to complete the online renewal form (step 1).*

If your group did not receive a 2008-2009 renewal confirmation letter: your group is missing a few key items, please contact the office of Student Involvement at getinvolved@drury.edu <http://getinvolved@drury.edu> for more information.

STEP 3 SPECIAL NOTES: Student Organization Handbook Workshops
Any student leader, student financial leader or campus advisor that has already attended a student organization handbook workshop (where you received your blue SO Handbook) does not need to attend this session again.

* Any student leader, student financial leader or campus advisor that has never attended a student organization handbook workshop will need to schedule a SOH session with the Office of Student involvement.
This can be done in one of two ways:
  • Schedule an individual meeting with the Office of Student Involvement by emailing getinvolved@drury.edu .
  • Attend a previously scheduled SOH group training session.
      • Thursday, 9/3 11am or 3pm
      • Thursday, 9/17 11am or 3pm
      • Friday, 9/18 12noon or 2pm
      • Wednesday, 10/7 1pm
      • Thursday, 10/8 11am or 4pm
      • Monday, 11/6 12noon or 1pm
      • Thursday, 12/3 11am or 3pm

STEP 4: RECEIVE OFFICIAL RENEWAL CONFIRMATION: The student leader and the campus advisor should keep the official RENEWAL confirmation letter on file.

The group's renewal is effective for the remainder of the CURRENT academic year. At the start of the new academic year, the student organization will be required to complete the renewal process again.
