Soak Up Springfield - Registration Is Closed

This event will introduce hundreds of Drury students, faculty, and staff to various businesses and non-profit organizations in the Springfield area!

Dear Local Organization:
Drury University is hosting Soak Up Springfield, an event that will introduce over 350 incoming first-year students as well as returning students, faculty, and staff to various businesses and non-profits in the Springfield area and will be held outside of the Findlay Student Center around the FSC Circle. Drury has a student body of over 1,500 students, and we would like your business or organization to advertise what you have to offer hundreds of youth, many of which are brand new to the area. All money raised from this event goes to support leadership development programming at Drury University and community outreach efforts.

New This Year

  • Included in your registration fee is an optional "Mini Soak Up Springfield" event on October 6th. All participants from Soak Up Springfield are invited back to the campus for Drury's Family and Alumni Weekend to reach a larger audience.
  • Targeted invitations will be sent to incoming freshmen and campus groups to increase participation.
  • All participants are invited to bring any job and internship information your organization may have. Based on feedback from the office of Career Planning and Development, many students are searching for jobs in early fall. This is a great opportunity to recruit new employees.
