Cabool Campus gets SMART Boards
Drury University's Cabool campus strives to provide its student and instructors with the latest technological advancements. Since opening its new facility in the fall of 2007, Drury in Cabool has been actively adding to its resources and equipment. In addition to a computer lab and free-access student computer stations, overhead projectors have been installed in several rooms. This equipment helps to facilitate and enhance the learning process at the Cabool campus and is made possible by the donations and the support of the surrounding community.
The newest addition at the Cabool has been the installation of SMART Boards in three classrooms this past June. SMART Boards provide the instructor with an interactive whiteboard that has many applications and uses in the classroom. This latest technological addition is an important facet of education at the Cabool campus, and it too, has been made possible by the generosity of local donors and supporters. Plans are underway to outfit three remaining classrooms with overhead projectors at a later date.
The Cabool campus would like to thank all the people who made the Cabool campus a reality and those who continue to support it. Through their insight, commitment and generosity, Drury University's campus in Cabool is able to continue helping area residents realize their educational and professional goals.
