SPRINGFIELD, Mo., April 21, 2009 — The Drury University Theatre Department presents the world premiere of a delightful new play for children and adults alike. “Vegetables,” by Mick Sokol, Associate Professor of Theatre, and directed by Brian Knox, will open at 7 p.m. on April 30 in the Wilhoit Theatre inside the Breech School of Business Administration Building at the corner of Central Street and Drury Lane. The one-act play chronicles the perils of not eating your vegetables.
“Vegetables” will be performed at 7 p.m. on April 30, May 1 and May 2 and at a matinee performance on May 2 at 2 p.m.
This production will utilize open seating and reservations are not required. Tickets are $1.00 each with the box office opening one hour prior to each performance. For more information, contact the Theatre Department at (417) 873-7255.
