Drury Presents the Annual Steve Good Memorial Concert

SPRINGFIELD , Mo., February 3, 2009 — The Drury University music department presents the annual Steve Good Memorial Concert on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Clara Thompson Hall. The concert is included in the university's convocation series.

This annual concert honors the life and memory of Dean Steve Good, who was instrumental in the creation of Drury's Global Perspectives 21 program. A former Provost and Dean of the College, Good was a part of Drury for more than two decades before he lost a battle with cancer in 2004.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted. This year's concert will benefit the American Cancer Society. Attendees are encouraged to wear bow ties to honor Dr. Good and his fondness for his trademark neckwear.

Drury University 's 2008-2009 convocation series Entrepreneurship & Innovation focuses on unique and innovative approaches to business, social and environmental issues. This series features the stories of individuals and organizations who apply energy and ingenuity to improve their world.
