Art & Art History Activity Grants

Do you want your interest in art or art history to earn you $1000?

Consider an activity grant in the Department of Art and Art History.

These grants are renewable if you maintain a GPA of 3.0 (B) or better. Recipients of these grants serve as student assistants, many of them in the Pool Arts Center Gallery, installing and hosting monthly exhibits. This fun and educational experience normally requires your time and talents two afternoons each month.

To be considered, please send a cover letter including your name, address, phone number and high school name, along with a letter of reference from a high school teacher. For those students interested in Design Arts or Fine Arts, please submit a representative portfolio of six slides of your work; for those students interested in art history, please submit a two-page essay on your experiences and interests in the history of art. Your Drury University admission application and high school transcript must be on file in the Drury Office of Admission. If you have questions or need more information contact the Department of Art and Art History at (417) 873-7263.

All materials must be received by February 15, 2010 to be considered for the 2010-2011 academic year. Please address all materials to:
