Kappa Delta reaches milestone in membership

In 2008 the Kappa Delta sorority achieved a goal they have been trying to reach for 20 years. The chapter reached house total twice. Total for Drury's sororities has been set at 54 members.

The KDs were honored with a certificate signed by the Panhellenic officers, the Greek advisor, the dean of students and the university's President Todd Parnell. After a request from Panhellenic Council, Parnell named November 18, 2008, as Kappa Delta Day at Drury University.

This semester sorority life added 90 new members, which is a 32 % increase from 2007. 2008 also marked the highest number of women that have signed up for recruitment in the last decade with 111 registering. Sorority membership now represents 26.5% of the female students at Drury. Panhellenic's goal is to reach 30% by 2010.
