Bill Scorse joined the Drury University staff in 2008 as the university's Chief Information Officer. Scorse oversees technology services and administrative computing to ensure the systems that are in place are appropriate to support the university's mission, vision and goals in the most effective and efficient manner.
A native of Joplin, Scorse was educated at Missouri Southern State University and received a master of business administration from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He's held several jobs in the food industry, most notably with Pillsbury in Joplin and the Minneapolis area.
Trained as an accountant, Scorse moved into information systems while in Minnesota. There he developed a system that helped Pillsbury better track its products and reduce waste in its plants in the Minneapolis area. Scorse came back to Springfield with Banta Foods in 1998.
