In the fall of 2007, Drury Theatre's production of Copenhagen was selected from more than 200 plays in the region to be performed at the regional festival of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Omaha, Nebraska. The cast, production staff and crew transported the entire production, refitting the original design into the festival's theatre. Actor BJ Hursh was further recognized by the national selection committee with a special commendation for his role as Werner Heisenberg.
The production was directed by Dr. Robin Schraft and featured students BJ Hursh, Jim Anderson and Amy Maas with Sammy Williams as Stage Manager.
