By Clark Satterlee
Dr. Kelley Still, associate professor of accounting at Drury University, was recently named one of the "Most Influential Women" of 2007 by the Springfield Business Journal. Dr. Still will be honored, along with the other women chosen, at a ceremony to be held at University Plaza on September 14th. A special Springfield Business Journal booklet will also be published September 17th to honor the women as well. Twenty women were chosen to this year's class, from a total of over 70 nominations.
The importance of this recognition has been noted by the Drury community. "I am so pleased that Kelley Still has received this prestigious award. She has been instrumental to the success of Drury's accounting program and a driving force in the development and growth of our popular arts administration program. Her service to the Springfield community and Drury University is exemplary and to receive this recognition is not only well-deserved, but also long overdue," said Dr. Penny Clayton.
Congratulations, Dr. Still, on this distinct honor!
