SPRINGFIELD, Mo. , April 24, 2007 — Daniel R. Beach, Ph.D., department chair of the school of education and child development/director of teacher education, will retire at the end of May after 24 years of service.
A reception to celebrate his contributions to teachers and students will be held on Wednesday, May 2, in Drury University’s Lay Hall. The reception will begin at 2 p.m. and last until 5 p.m. with a special program beginning at 4 p.m.
This is an open invitation. Donations will be accepted at the reception for the Daniel R. Beach Tribute Fund for Teacher Education.
