James Bone recently founded Global Compliance Advisors, LLC. His company provides advanced compliance and operational risk approaches for firms. Before founding his company, he was a senior vice president of risk management for Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, Inc. where he supervised all activities related to marketing and advertising, operations, information security, contract administration, sales practices, retirement product development and continuing education. James has also been a trustee for the Aloha Foundation in Fairlee, Vermont since 1997. The Aloha Foundation is a non-profit year round camp for kids and adults providing a variety of outdoor learning and educational experiences. In addition, James has worked in financial services for several years including stints with Merrill Lynch and Stuart James. James was a member of Drury's 1979 National Championship Team and inducted into its Basketball Hall of Fame. A native of Chattanooga, TN, James studied business at Drury and earned a masters in education-administration, training and planning from Boston University. He is a member of Bethel AME Church in Boston and married to Deborah L. Bone. They have two children, Avery Chapman and James Brady.
