Spanish Minor
All prerequisites must be completed prior to enrollment in the following courses. Refer to the course descriptions of each course below for prerequisites.
Note: We will still support the old curriculum, but might need to substitute newer courses for the old ones. It is important to understand that if you choose to change curriculum you will adopt the entire course catalog for the 2013-2014 academic year. This will include the CORE curriculum as well as changes that might be made to other majors and minors.

| Spanish majors and minors are strongly urged to earn some of the required credits through an approved program in a Spanish-speaking country. | The big changes are:
- Instead of SPAN 301 and 310, students take SPAN 304 and 306.
- SPAN 315-320 (Service to the Hispanic Community) is no longer required;
- Students must now take courses from at least two of the three main categories (Language, Texts, or Culture).
- SPAN 102 no longer counts towards the minor.
