Curriculum for the Five-Year Professional Degree

Because the architecture curriculum is sequentially structured, students are screened at the end of the first year, and each subsequent year, to assure the prerequisites have been completed with acceptable grades before they are allowed to advance to the next year level of the program.

The grade of "Incomplete" in any prerequisite course will necessitate the completion of that work and receipt of a final grade prior to the first day of any course requiring the prerequisite. Students who have not completed the prerequisite for any ARCH course as of the first day of class will be removed from the roster of that class. Application to continue in the professional program at the third year level must be made at the beginning of the spring semester of the sophomore year.
