Drury welcomes transfer students from universities in the U.S. and abroad!
The university maintains the highest academic standards for admission, but also considers carefully all factors of a student’s record and experiences and potential in making individual admission decisions.
Therefore, the recommended deadline for applying for Admission and completing the application is 60 days prior to the start of the semester. (For example: Spring semester is November 1, Fall semester is June 1.) However, we do consider applications after these dates if they are mailed with all the necessary documents.
To apply as a Transfer Student, please submit the following:
2) Secondary school records, including a copy in English (Students with British system O level examination or comparable national examinations must present a minimum of 5 passes with credit).
3) Official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities.
5) Required Essay: Why do you want to attend a university in the U.S. specifically, Drury University? Or you may submit a writing sample of your choice.

Students transferring from non-American universities outside the U.S. also submit:

Final Note: English proficiency is not measured only by TOEFL or SAT scores. Each individual is assessed and placed in studies best suited to his or her language level. We want to help you succeed in your studies and we will provide the language support you may need.
Students with TOEFL scores of 530 (paper based test) or 197 (computer based test) or successful completion of Drury's English For Academic Purposes EAP teacher recommendations, are admitted to the degree program.
Those with below 500 TOEFL or no score, may be granted conditional admission to the degree program. These students enroll first in the full time Intensive English Program to raise their English proficiency before beginning degree studies. TOEFL/SAT requirements may be waived for students who transfer 30 credit hours or more from U.S. colleges and universities
