Introduction to the Career Center

WELCOME TO THE CAREER CENTER!
You have accessed the Drury University Career Center, an evolving and dynamic resource for students and alumni. We are a centralized center dedicated to providing career development support and information. Career development is facilitated through the theoretical framework of career counseling and with a range of career exploration resources including interest, personality, and skills assessments, individual and group career counseling, computerized guidance and information systems, the Internet, and the career library. Workshops are offered throughout the academic year on Self-Assessment, Resume Writing, Job Search Strategies and Interviewing Skills. Today's technology is fully utilized to provide the best and most effective assistance to Drury students and alumni. To ensure that our students have the greatest advantage in their chosen field, we provide resume preparation assistance, internship opportunities, a career database for resume and credential referral, career fairs, on-campus interviewing opportunities, alumni mentoring and networking, and the services offered on this website. Our overriding goal at the Career Center is to integrate individual career development within the academic environment and to provide a connection to the world of work.
