Admission to the Program

In addition to completing the five steps outlined on the How to Apply page, applicants must satisfy the prerequisite course requirement. 

There are two routes for satisfying the prerequisite course requirement: 

1. Complete each of the prerequisite courses listed below as part undergraduate or post-baccalaureate work:

  • Financial Accounting
  • Managerial Accounting
  • Microeconomics
  • Macroeconomics
  • Marketing
  • Management or Organizational Behavior
  • Finance
  • Statistics

2. Enroll in the 5-week MBA Boot Camp (PMBA 501: Business Essentials) offered each summer. Individuals completing the course earn eight hours of undergraduate credit and fulfill all MBA prerequisites.


A unique feature of the Drury MBA program is the requirement that everyone admitted to the program participate in an orientation session, which involves overnight scheduling. Orientation activities include course preparation, advising and team-building exercises. Students are required to pay an orientation fee.
