Charlyn Ingwerson is a magna cum laude graduate of Missouri State University with a B.A. in Philosophy. She holds an M.A. in English from MSU, an M.A. in Theology from AG Theological Seminary, and a MA TESOL certificate. A Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Arkansas is in progress.

She is a singer/songwriter/publisher and member of ASCAP, and a member of the Board of the Mid-West Jewish Studies Association.

Charlyn teaches classes in writing and cultural studies, grammar, and modern and contemporary American and Middle Eastern literature. She is coordinator of Drury’s English for Academic Purposes program and teaches bridge courses for students who are not native English speakers.
