Greetings from the Dean

It is my honor to serve as the Interim Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Drury University. Our college is at the core of the Liberal Arts and enriches every student and discipline on campus. Drury students are challenged by an engaged faculty who are some of the top scholars in their field, yet committed to student success both in and outside of the classroom. Through personal connections with faculty, students and alumni, you will become part of the Drury family and experience first-hand what we call the Drury Difference.

Our college (CHASS) is the most academically diverse at Drury and focuses on what it means to be human. We will challenge you to express yourself artistically, explore human behavior, and study human ways of thinking and communicating. With 61 faculty in 6 departments offering 26 distinct majors, 10 minors and 2 graduate programs, we are confident you will find a discipline that will engage, challenge and inspire you.

I invite you to explore our website and see the many and varied opportunities we have to offer. Our faculty and department chairs are happy to visit with you about how you can find a home in CHASS. Likewise, feel free to contact me, or one of our assistant deans if you would like more information about our college, or would like information about how to schedule a campus visit. Drury is committed to your success through making connections that last a lifetime. Let us help you get started today.
