Mechanic/Tool Crib Operator

Department: Facilities Services
Supervisor: Associate Director of Facilities
Schedule: Regular, Full-time, 12 months, M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Description: Under general supervision, perform journey-level work in the service, diagnostic, overhaul, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of all campus vehicles and equipment. Oversee the tool and parts crib for the general maintenance use. Is responsible for the full range of automotive maintenance and repair needed to keep all University vehicles and equipment in good running condition, including gas, diesel and electrical engines. Performs inspection of automotive and equipment to determine necessary corrective action; performs diagnostic tests using engine analyzers.

Natural Sciences Community Liaison

Description: The Natural Sciences Community Liaison will work closely with the dean and department chairs in the natural sciences to create and maintain effective communication with their off-campus constituencies to increase educational opportunities for students and expand the recruitment of new students and donors. In addition to assisting with the development and implementation of web and social media strategies, the Liaison must be able to effectively communicate via in-person visits, phone calls, e-mail, and web/social media outlets.
