All prices listed are per student for one semester.   Room and board is non-refundable.

2017-18 Contract Cancellation Fee Schedule

  • Current students with academic-year contracts or fall-only contracts
  • Newly Admitted Students (Fall entry) with academic-year and fall-only contracts
  • Newly Admitted Students (spring) and Current students with a spring-only contract
  • If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received on or before the exemption deadline (April 5, 2017) there is NO contract cancellation fee.

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after the exemption deadline (April 5, 2017), but prior to fall move-in, the student will be charged a $500 contract cancellation fee.

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received on or after fall move-in and by the add-course deadline (September 1, 2017), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    -the prorated cost of the meal plan

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after the add-course deadline (September 1, 2017), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    -the entire cost of the current semester’s meal plan, unless cancellation/move-out occur during Winter Break or between Jan move-in and the Jan meal change deadline

    -40% of the remaining room rent for the entire academic year

  • If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received on or before the exemption deadline (July 31, 2017) there is NO contract cancellation fee.

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after the exemption deadline (July 31, 2017) but prior to fall move-in, the student will be charged a $500 contract cancellation fee.

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after fall move-in and by the add-course deadline (September 1, 2017), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    -the prorated cost of the meal plan

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after the add-course deadline (September 1, 2017), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received on or after spring move-in day and by the course-add deadline (January 26, 2018), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    -the prorated cost of the meal plan

    If a 2017-18 Request for Exemption is received after the course-add deadline (January 26, 2018), the student will be charged:

    -$500 contract cancellation fee

    -the nightly room rate until date of formal check-out

    -the entire cost of the spring semester's meal plan

    -40% of the remaining room rent for the entire academic year
