About Hope & Action

Hope and Action seeks to showcase, celebrate, and ultimately learn from global citizens and organizations which, even in the midst of human tragedy or environmental disaster, have resolutely believed in their abilities to create a better world.

Convocation is a tradition that has driven the Drury University community to think critically, discuss openly, and learn unequivocally for more than 60 years. Since the beginning of the new millennium, each Convo series has maintained a particular theme and has drawn nation's leading scientists, authors, historians, sociologists, theologians and lecturers to the Drury campus.
