About the Green Dot Strategy

The Green Dot Strategy is a program to teach bystander intervention and social norming to prevent all types of violence. The program will teach how any behavior, choice, action, or conversation a person has can demonstrate complete intolerance for any form of violence and/or actively contribute to a culture of safety.

This program will empower students, faculty, and staff to say or do something when they see a violent behavior or a high-risk behavior that could possibly lead to violence. Providing this evidence-based program to the institutions of higher learning education in the area will decrease acts of sexual assault and violence.
