Membership Opportunities

All fraternity chapters accept new members in the fall semester. For the opportunity to join a fraternity in the fall semester, complete the online recruitment registration form.  Only select chapters will accept new members in the spring semester.  This is determined by available membership spaces.  For the opportunity to join a fraternity in the spring semester, contact the Greek Life staff in the Student Activities Office at greeks@drury.edu

Fraternity Requirements – Financial, Time, and Academic

Fraternity Basics

The academic responsibilities, financial obligations, and time requirements are an important factor in your decision to join a fraternity. If you have questions, please ask a current chapter member.  If your parents or guardians are responsible for your support, be sure to discuss all relevant costs and time requirements with them before you decide to join.

Cost to participate in Fraternity Recruitment

Participation in Fraternity Recruitment is free.

Fraternity Life Financial Obligations

Joining a fraternity, while not without additional expense can be an affordable option for everyone. Payment plans are always an option within individual chapters, and most fraternity members balance their school and activity load with a part time job. Investing in a fraternity will be one of the best decisions you will ever make; the friendships and memories you make within your chapter will be remembered long after you write your check for dues.

The cost for each fraternity is different; you should carefully go through all of the different fraternities requirements before weighing your options.

Fraternity Recruitment Schedule and How it Works

Fraternity Recruitment begins August 22nd and runs until August 26th. All events are open to men interested in joining Fraternity Life. Throughout the week, each chapter will host events at designated times. Attend as many events as you want to get to know our current men, and express your potential interest.

On Saturday, you will receive special invitations to Invitational Rounds. This round helps your narrow down your options and get to spend more time with up to 2 chapters.  At the end of the day, chapters will extend invitation to join to those they are interested in becoming brothers. Men who receive a bid will be contacted via email prior to Bid Reveal. Meet at the flag pole in the Fraternity Quad to find out which chapter extended membership!

For all events,  meet at the chapter house of the hosting organization.
