Humanities Society

About the Organization
The goal of the Drury Humanities Society is to promote and facilitate extracurricular intellectual engagement related to the Humanities. We also strive to create a network of collaboration between students and faculty in order to show the value and importance of the Humanities in the world today. To accomplish this, the Society works in conjunction with Humanities faculty and members of the Humanities House to plan and host events, such as game nights, open mics, trivia nights, discussions, bi-annual dinners, and more. The Society believes that immersion in the Humanities helps a person become more passionate, open-minded, empathetic, critical, and intellectually creative. These are the kinds of qualities and habits of mind we believe are crucial to achieving excellence in one's personal, professional, and social life.

The Humanities Society meets monthly in the Humanities House on Fridays at 5pm .
