Gender Intersectionality Collective

About the Organization
The Gender Intersectionality Collective raises money and awareness for intersectional issues (such as gender, race, etc) that promote discussion and education of important societal issues. Our group highlights the diversity and teamwork of its members to unite under a common cause. Members have opportunities to get involved in leading discussion during meetings, attending/running events, and helping to raise money. We use proactivity to bring forth the involvement of the community by hosting a variety of popular events. GICo seek to bring forth a sense of community, while maintaining a strong responsibility to personal involvement and an ethical code of treatment to one another as well those that do not adhere to the same beliefs.

GICo meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00pm in the Olin Library Room 214.
