About the Organization
AD/PR Club is Drury’s student chapter of the American Advertising Federation, a national organization with more than 40,000 professionals and 6,500 college students. AD/PR Club is open to students majoring in communication, marketing, visual communication or closely related areas. The chapter hosts monthly meetings and encourages professional networking (Career Quest, KC AAF Career Day, and visits to area agencies/businesses). Each spring AD Team competes in the National Student Advertising Competition by presenting an integrated marketing communication plan for a national brand (previous clients include Toyota, Glidden, and Coca Cola). Student members of AAF are eligible to compete for a slot as an AD Team presenter.
AD/PR Club meets monthly with the meeting location and times to be determined.
