Ecology is defined as how organisms relate to each other and the physical environment around them.

Drury Grounds sees the campus grounds as an important ecosystem that can enhance and support the ecology of our urban landscape. In the urban setting development, parcelization and other environmental challenges are increasingly diminishing the health and viability of our urban green spaces.

Drury Grounds uses cultural approaches such as native plantings, low resource turf maintenance, low chemical intervention and closed organic matter loops to rebuild and revitalize our campus ecology.
