Contra atomistic self and a postmodern fragmented multiplicity of selves - ěpost-post-modernî identity as rooted in singular, public body, whileěsmearedî across multiple real and virtual spaces (QM). Our identities online are only partially ěprivateî while they are also only partially ěpublic.î We can still hide ń at least partially - behind pseudonyms and anonynmizer services ń and as embodied creatures we can still keep our online and offline lives somewhat separate.
