Lisa Pitt

Special Projects Liaison

Mrs. Lisa Pitt is an instructor in Drury University’s School of Education and Child Development and a Student Teacher University Supervisor. She came to Drury after a career in the Republic School District where she served as an instructor in the gifted program and as an Elementary classroom teacher. After completing her Master’s Degree in Education, she continued on to complete her Specialist in Education in Educational Administration at Southwest Missouri State University. She has been involved in the Springfield Public Schools System teaching Character Education and volunteering for 17 years. Currently she is Liaison for Special Projects and Clinical Experiences in the Education Department at Drury University and has been involved with Drury University Children’s Vision Center, the Askinosie Chocolate Project, the Mentoring program at Central High School and the Garden Activity Project and DIRT Curriculum.
