Dr. Doelling has been a University professor teaching courses in Special Education since 1991. Her public school experience includes teaching at the elementary and secondary levels and serving as Coordinator of Special Education and Evaluation Specialist for several school districts.
Dr. Doelling's University teaching experience has focused on coursework in assessment and methods to support individuals with high incidence disabilities including autism. She has also served as a Clinical Supervisor at Missouri State University and the University of Missouri where she completed her doctorate. She has been the Principal and Co Principal Investigator on several Federal, State and University grants and an autism consultant for Project Access, Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Her publications have focused on traumatic brain injury, assessment and integration of individuals with autism, and management of medical and behavioral issues in the classroom.
