The Drury University Teacher Education Alliance (TEA) is a collaboration between the School ofEducation and Child Development (SECD) and designated Springfield schools. The partnershipframework is based, in part, on the work of Dr. James Comer of the Yale School Development Program.Teachers who teach in the TEA schools are encouraged to apply Comer principles and research- basedstrategies to their classroom practices and participate in the Drury Master in Education (M.Ed.) or arelated graduate degree program. Graduate programs are offered to DU TEA partnership teachers at asignificantly reduced tuition rate of 20 percent of the normal tuition costs.
Persons who qualify are encouraged to complete the following application the semester prior tobeginning the M.Ed. program or a related graduate degree program which has been approved by theDirector of SECD.
