The Drury University Teacher Education Alliance (TEA) is a collaboration between the School of Education and Child Development (SECD) and designated Springfield schools. The partnership framework is based, in part, on the work of Dr. James Comer of the Yale School Development Program. Teachers who teach in the TEA schools are encouraged to apply Comer principles and research-based strategies to their classroom practices and participate in the Drury Master in Education (M.Ed.) or a related graduate degree program. Graduate programs are offered to DU TEA partnership teachers at a significantly reduced tuition rate of 20 percent of the normal tuition costs.
Persons who qualify are encouraged to complete the following application the semester prior to beginning the M.Ed. program or a related graduate degree program which has been approved by the Dean of SECD.
