Five to Thrive: Eat Well
Eat Well entails healthy menu choices in the Commons and CX, fewer Trans-fats, improved choices in the campus vending machines and healthy cooking classes. This also included a new renovation to the CX to increase the healthy and fresh options offered on campus.
- Work on eating 5 servings of colorful fruit and vegetables daily
- Consume a variety of lean proteins – including vegetable based proteins
- Make healthy dietary choices to maintain healthy weight
- Drink calorie free fluids daily to prevent dehydration
