Food for Thought

About the Group
This organization is geared towards people who want to help improve the school food system, especially for those with food allergies. The organization is called Food for Thought and our advisor is Amy Blansit. The main goal would be to first start at the school level and talk to the administrators at Aladdin Foods to better advertise what's gluten free/dairy free/etc. at the Commons and CX. Then hopefully we could eventually go out into the community and eat at restaurants that advertise gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian/vegan food, etc. For those restaurants that are not so allergy or diet friendly, we'd encourage them to start the option. The group would also serve as a comfortable place for incoming freshman or transfer students with allergies or other dietary needs who are not familiar with where they can eat in Springfield.

Meetings
Food for Thought meets on Mondays at 12:00 (subject to change) in the FSC Downunder.
