Job Title: Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College

Description:

The Vice-President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Dean of the College is the chief academic officer of the
university and provides leadership in all areas of the academic enterprise. The VPAA will serve a key role in
enhancing Drury’s distinction as a regionally-ranked liberal arts university. Working with the president, the
management team, the faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees, the VPAA will be a data-driven decisionmaker
who communicates well with numerous constituencies, demonstrates a high level of integrity, fosters
innovation, sets high expectations for the institution, and develops strategic initiatives that will strengthen the
university and draw on Drury’s core mission to provide personalized education that integrates theoretical and
practical knowledge and encourages individuals to contribute to a global community.
