Description:

Assists students in taking ownership of their academic progress and graduation plans and provides comprehensive academic advising services for all undergraduate day school students, but specifically targets entering freshmen and new transfer students.  Contributes to programs which prepare faculty for and assists them with providing excellent advising.  Establishes good working relationships with students, faculty, and academic departments.

Description:

Responsible for providing overall direction and management in the administration of all federal, state, private, and institutional financial aid and scholarship programs in compliance with all federal, state, and institutional policies.  Oversees the packaging philosophy of the university, including allocation of institutional scholarships in order to promote stewardship and assist in meeting annual financial goals.  Supervises the verification, packaging of awards, certification and disbursement of funds and educational benefits.

The Vice-President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Dean of the College is the chief academic officer of the
university and provides leadership in all areas of the academic enterprise. The VPAA will serve a key role in
enhancing Drury’s distinction as a regionally-ranked liberal arts university. Working with the president, the
management team, the faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees, the VPAA will be a data-driven decisionmaker
who communicates well with numerous constituencies, demonstrates a high level of integrity, fosters
innovation, sets high expectations for the institution, and develops strategic initiatives that will strengthen the
university and draw on Drury’s core mission to provide personalized education that integrates theoretical and
