Asikaa Cosgrove

Born and raised in Hertfordshire, England, Asikaa Cosgrove graduated with distinction from one of London’s premier engineering and technology research institutions after studying electronic engineering and computer information systems. After working for British Telecommunications as a systems designer, Dr. Cosgrove immigrated to the United States. He has been a part of the Drury community since 2001 and joined the full-time faculty in 2011. Dr. Cosgrove has studied and taught the principles of effective human-computer interface design, the ethics and psychology of online interaction, instructional design and the management of technology within organizations. Dr. Cosgrove enjoys teaching grades 6-8 in Drury’s Summerscape camp, a pre-college summer program for gifted students. His research interests include cognitive psychology, motivation and the use of virtual environments for learning.

For relaxation, Dr. Cosgrove enjoys gravel biking, metal detecting, and riding his Missouri foxtrotting horse, Billy.
