Drury Debate Union

Drury University: Over a century of excellence in debate

The Drury University Debate Union is a co-curricular activity involving students, faculty, and alumni who are committed to learning and practicing the art and skills of debating. It is an exciting challenge for students to not only learn how to debate, but how to use those skills in a variety of situations as they become informed and involved global citizens.

It is our goal to not only promote discussion, debate, and dialogue in our community, but also in our region, our nation, and around the world. Whether in a public forum, a round table discussion, or a competitive debate, our students will become part of a vibrant group engaged in critical thinking and valuable learning experiences.

The Drury University Debate Union is made possible by the support and generous gifts of our alumni and friends.
