Getting Started in Drury's Online Programs
Registration & Advising
It is important to register only for the courses needed within your particular program of study, including the general education distribution requirements and major requirements.
Please contact your advisor to determine what you need to take for your particular degree program. You may register yourself online for subsequent semesters through your myDrury login.
Make sure your tuition is paid by the due date for each semester. Some students pay outright, while others seek Financial Aid (through grants, loans or scholarships).
Online students may purchase paper textbooks or eBooks if an eBook version is available.
Textbooks and access numbers for eBooks are in the Drury Bookstore two weeks before courses start. Or, both paper textbooks and eBooks may be purchased online. There is a delivery time of one to five days for paper textbooks. eBooks are available for access within 24 hours or less. Vouchers are accepted on either type of textbook.
It is important to familiarize yourself with Moodle, the learning management system (LMS) used to conduct online classes. Courses will be made available to enrolled students one week prior to the start of the course.
For Moodle practice, please login to Moodle and self-enroll in the "Student Moodle Orientation" prior to the start of your course. Here you will learn how to navigate, submit assignments, use the discussion forum, take a practice quiz, and more!
All official electronic correspondence from Drury will come to you through your Drury email address. You will be notified of your student ID number and Drury email address in writing through regular mail when you are admitted to the University.
