Set Up Your Payment Plan

Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.

  • $45 enrollment fee per semester (you will have to re-enroll each semester.)

Instructions for Online Payments and Account Payoff

Online Credit/Debit Card and Electronic Check Payments

There is a 2.85% service fee on domestic debit/credit card transactions.  There is a 4.25% service fee for international debit/credit card transactions.  Credit/Debit card transactions over $20 and less than $106 will have a minimum service fee of $3.00.

There is a $0.25 per transaction fee when paying by electronic check.   

If you’re needing a transcript quickly, please make your payment by credit card.  Payment by an electronic check or a debit card will not release the hold on your account for at least two weeks.  

 Go to the Drury homepage.

  1. Know your account balance or the amount you want to pay. If you don’t know, you can view instructions on how to access your account balance
  2. Click on My Drury which is located on the top of the page.
  3. A security information pop-up may appear regarding secure and non-secure items. Please answer yes to the pop-up.
  4. Click on Online Payments, located on the left hand side of the webpage.
  5. Click on Drury University Online Payments (Enrollment and Third Party Payments Only).
  6. Enter Student ID# and student’s last name. Click Sign in. If the login box asks you for a Parent PIN click the link below the box that says, “Click here to login if you know the Login but do not have the password”. It will switch your options to ID# and last name. (Do not pay with a Parent ID# and PIN.  This will NOT put the payment on the student’s account).
  7. Click View Details in the Payment to Account (You will enter the amount owed)
  8. Enter the Payment Amount. Select the correct Year/Term. Click on Add to Payment.
  9. Click Checkout.
  10. Select your Payment Method (there are four choices).

  12. A CashNet SmartPay box will appear. It will list the amount of the service fee. Please check the acknowledgement box and click on If you use an electronic check, there is a $0.25 per transaction fee.
  13. An itemization of your transaction will appear for your review. Be sure to enter your email address to have a receipt sent. Click Pay $xxx.xx to complete your transaction.
  14. A Transaction Approved page will appear when your transaction is complete. If you wish to print a receipt, you may do so by clicking on the receipt number. Click Sign Out when finished.

Setting Up Your Nelnet Payment Plan

  1.  Sign in to MyDrury.
  2. Go to the Student Tab

  3. Click on Nelnet Payment Plan in the list on the left. Choose the current year and semester in the drop down menu. Click “Pay using Nelnet”.

  4. A new window will open. If this is your first time setting up a payment plan you will create your account. After you have done this once, it will take you directly to the Home screen the next time you sign in.
  5. Nelnet will communicate with you via email. This includes payment reminders. Enter your Drury email as Email 1. If you would like to include other emails (personal email, parent, spouse/significant other, sibling, etc.) you can add up to two others. You can also choose to receive payment reminders via text message if you enter a cell phone number.

  6. Next, set your Security Questions and answers. These will be used if you call Nelnet with questions about your plan or payments.

  7. Now that your account has been created, you will be at the Home screen. From here you can do several things:
    • Set up your payment plan
    • Change your contact information
    • Set up text alerts for payment reminders
    • Add an authorized party – Anyone you would want to have access to information regarding your payment plan. This is usually a family member or significant other.

  8. Click on “Set up a Payment Plan”. Click “Begin” on the next page. Review the information on the next page and hit next. Do NOT remove the check mark from the box that says “Please send me e-mail payment reminders”. Drury will not send you a separate reminder.

  9. On the next page it will show your balance. If you have pending financial aid it may not be reflected in the balance due. That is okay! You will be signing up for delayed payments that begin after financial aid scheduled to disburse. Click Next.

  10. Select your payment plan. If you are using financial aid to pay for part or all of you charges you will choose the Pending Aid plan. Look for the plan with no down payment, with a first payment starting in October (fall), March (spring), or July (summer). If you do not see that plan, you may not have aid accepted and you should stop and verify your aid on MyDrury. The $45.00 enrollment fee is not charged until the first payment date for pending aid plans.

  11. Once you have selected your plan you will enter payment information.

  12. After your payment information has been entered you will be taken to a budget calculator showing your monthly payment amounts. Keep in mind, these amounts can change. Adjustments to your schedule, charging books, getting a fine, etc. can all impact your balance due.
  13. Click Next. Review your information and click “Authorize”. Print or write down your plan number.

If at any time throughout the semester you want to view adjustments on your plan, make adjustments to payment methods, or check the balance you can do so by going back to “My Payment Plan” on your MyDrury. Click on the “Pay using Nelnet” link. It will take you to your Nelnet home page.

Instructions for 529 Online Payments

*Please note that there is a fee for paying online with a 529 Plan

  1. Go to the Drury homepage: www.drury.edu
  2. Click on “MyDrury” which is located at the top of the homepage and log in.
  3. Click on the “Student” tab.
  4. Click on “My Account Info” which is on the left hand side of the page.
  5. Click on the link Pay Online.
  6. Click “Payment to Account” for student tuition/fee payments.
  7. Enter the Payment Amount. Enter the Year and Term. Click on “Add to Payment Cart.” If you don’t know your balance due, below are instructions on how to view your account balance online.
  8. Make sure your payment cart looks okay. Click on “Checkout.”
  9. Click on “Link My 529 Savings Plan” button.
  10. Please enter all information requested and click on “Continue.”
  11. An itemization of your transaction will appear for your review. Click “submit payment” to complete your transaction.
  12. A “Transaction Approved” page will appear when your transaction is complete. If you wish to print a receipt, you may do so by clicking “View Printable Receipt” at the bottom left side of the page.
  13. Click “Sign Out” when you are finished.

Accessing Your Account Balance Online

  1. Go to the Drury homepage: www.drury.edu
  2. At the top of the page, click on MyDrury.
  3. Log in to your MyDrury account. If you do not know your user name and password, you will need to contact the Help Desk at (417) 873-7300.
  4. Select the tab that is labeled “Student.”
  5. On the left side of the screen, select the “My Account Info” link.
  6. From this point, you have two options:
    1. Clicking My Account Balances will show the amount that is currently due. If you click on that number, you will be able to view your entire account history at Drury.
    2. Clicking Course and Fee Statement will generate a statement for the current semester.
