Dr. Harville came to Drury in 2005. She received her bachelor’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University and her doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She teaches in both the chemistry and biology departments. Her teaching interests include biochemistry and molecular biology. Dr. Harville also has an active undergraduate lab focusing on identification and characterization of new proteases. Currently she and her students are studying a protease identified and isolated from the periodontal pathogen, Tannerella forsythia. Her students regularly present research at regional and national meetings.
