About the Ava SiteThe CCPS Ava campus serves students living throughout Douglas, Ozark and Wright counties. The classes are held in the evening at the Ava High School. Drury began offering classes at Ava in 1997, currently there are over 400 students working toward a variety of undergraduate degrees. Students can work on their degree while working fulltime and/or raising a family through a combination of evening and online classes. In 2009, Drury opened a new office in Ava at 1904 S. Jefferson, to better accommodate the growing number of students. This office is open Monday through Friday during the regular semester and offers students academic advising, financial aid assistance, and career counseling; in addition to a computer lab with high speed internet access. The success of the CCPS Ava campus is due to combined efforts of the Drury University community, the Ava business community, and the residents of Ava which are committed to higher education. A variety of general education, major requirement, and elective courses are offered each semester. Numerous associate degree programs are offered.
