While accommodating close to 1,000 refugees, this proposal investigates a new form of urban infrastructure in a hybrid, multi-use linear design. Rather than interfacing with the city at functional points, the design offers an integrated model, one that includes rail depots and cargo storage. Further investigating the idea of architecture as topography, the design ponders possibilities for configuring new types of infrastructure in dense urban environments.
