Executive Vice President for University Advancement
Wayne Chipman returned to Drury University in June of 2016 as Executive Vice President for University Advancement after serving in a number of advancement roles at Truman State University and at the University of Missouri – Columbia. During his tenure of over 12 years at the University of Missouri (most recently as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Advancement), Chipman played a central role in the success of the $1 billion “For All We Call Mizzou” campaign and was a leader in the current $1.3 billion “Mizzou: Our Time to Lead” campaign. Chipman has extensive experience in the area of planned and endowment gifts, and has managed teams of major gift fundraisers focusing on high net-worth individuals, foundation relations, corporate relations, regional programs, and international advancement. Chipman also draws on his prior advancement experience at Drury from 1997 – 2001 and his work in economic development and as a practicing attorney. He holds an MBA and a Juris Doctor degree.
