Rob Fridge is responsible for providing all aspects of financial resources and services to meet the short-term needs of Drury’s constituents and ensuring the long-term financial health of the university. Since joining in 2008, his team has refinanced $33 million in long-term debt saving over $1 million per year in annual debt service and negotiated a new health care agreement realizing $600,000 annually in savings. He earned his CPA as an auditor for KPMG after graduating from Abilene Christian University, followed by eight years with construction giant, Austin Industries in Dallas, including preparation of a $1.2 billion dollar annual budget. An entrepreneur, Fridge owned and operated a chain of retail stores in D/FW, setting national sales records for seven years. Most recently, Fridge served as CFO for an international import company in the boating industry. He serves on local boards and is active in his school district and church.
